Link building pricing
Also called: Cost of backlinks
Link building pricing varies by site quality, effort and model. A very low price per link usually signals low quality sites or bulk placements.
Link building is priced in a few ways. Some providers charge per link, some by monthly retainer, and some by campaign. Cost depends on site quality, how much writing and outreach is needed, and whether it's an insertion into an existing page or a new article.
A very low price per link is often a sign of low quality or bulk placements, since good sites take time to approach and many don't take payment at all. At the other end, a high price doesn't prove quality either. Ask what you actually get in each case.
Practical point: compare on what's included, not on headline price. Ask how sites are chosen, whether you approve them, what's reported for each link, and what happens if a link is removed. Be cautious of guaranteed rankings, since no provider controls them. Check a sample of live links yourself.
