E-E-A-T

Also called: Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness

E-E-A-T is Google's quality framework of experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust, used by human raters to assess content quality.

E-E-A-T stands for experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trustworthiness. It comes from Google's Search Quality Rater Guidelines, which human raters use to judge whether search results are good. Google says trust is the most important part.

It isn't a direct ranking factor or a score you can see. Google has said its systems look for signals that line up with these ideas. In practice, that means content written by people who know the subject, clear authorship, accurate facts, honest sourcing, and a site that's clear about who runs it.

Practical point: show your work. Put real names and credentials on articles, cite sources, share first hand experience such as photos, data or case details, and make contact details easy to find. External mentions and links from respected sites can support the picture, though no one outside Google knows exactly how.
