Guest post
Also called: Guest blogging · Guest article
A guest post is an article you write, or have written, for another website's blog, usually with an author bio or link back to you.
A guest post is an article published on someone else's site under your name or your company's. In exchange for useful content, the publisher gives you exposure and often a link. It's one of the oldest ways to build links and reach a new audience.
It still works when the content is good and the site is relevant. It fails when it's treated as a link factory. Google has warned about large-scale guest posting that exists mainly to place links, so quality, topical fit and editorial standards matter. Sites that accept anything for a fee are a red flag.
Practical point: before you pitch, read the site. Do they publish things you'd actually read, do they have real traffic, and do they send readers to the sources they cite? Write something you'd be proud to put your name on. Then check that the live link and attributes match what was agreed.
LinkHatch's blogger outreach follows this approach, with clients approving every site and sites clearing a DR floor and a traffic floor.

Every link we place comes with a receipt. The free link plan shows the pages worth pushing and what the links would cost.
